Across the street from the University of Alberta campus, the hotel offers one bedroom suites (525 sq.ft.) include kitchenette, dining area and a large livingroom with a pull out sofa bed. The one bedroom standard suite has one queen size bed in the private bedroom and can accommodate a maximum of four guests. Features include fully air conditioned suites, fitness centre, Airport Shuttle,Complimentary high speed internet in every suite, Free local calls, Complimentary in-suite coffee/tea, In-room blockbuster movies. Rates:
$102/night plus 12% for taxes. (each additional person added to the suite will be charged $20 per night. The conference rate is also valid three days prior and three days after the CACS conference.
Reservations: All bookings must be in by October 1, 2005 on an individual basis. Reservations requests following that date will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability.

Edmonton House Suite Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Edmonton and close to many restaurants and amenities. Accessible in six minutes by Light Rapid Transit (3 stations from University of Alberta), ten minutes by car, or 20 minutes by foot from the University of Alberta. A maximum of four (4) people are allowed per one bedroom suite per night. An additional charge of $15.00 dollars per person per night will be applied.
Rates:
Edmonton House Suite Hotel offers a rate of $99.00 per night per Standard one bedroom suite, base upon single or double occupancy. (Canadian funds). Subject to Federal, Provincial, and City taxes at the time of booking. Currently, 12%.
All reservations must be received and guaranteed by September 20, 2005. After this date the hotel reserves the right to release the remaining portion of rooms blocked for the conference back into hotel inventory. The hotel will not guarantee the convention rate after the release date but will offer the best possible rate available at that time.

Reservations:
Reservations are available from September 20th to October 20th
at the negotiated rate for the duration of each guest’s stay based upon availability. Each individual is responsible for the payment of the room, taxes and incidental charges.
Normal credit procedures apply at check-in. All guests are required to present a valid credit card.
Billeting for Graduate Students
The Conference Committee is working on organizing billeting for graduate students during the conference. Details will be available at the end of August. Those interested in being billeted during the conference should email the CACS office. You will be contacted once arrangements have been confirmed.
